How to fill in the Waste Buster submission form
The Waste Buster submission form has six boxes; three are required and three are optional.
REQUIRED
Box 1 lists all British Columbia government ministries so you can identify which one you think should receive your submission. If you are not sure, leave the box blank or select "don’t know." Submissions related to Crown corporations, agencies, boards and commissions are directed to the ministry responsible for that corporation.
REQUIRED
Box 2 lets you pick the identifier that most accurately reflects your submission. Choose one of the following:
- Deregulation
- Improve government’s performance, services or efficiencies
- Eliminate waste, duplication of effort, or unnecessary services or paperwork
- Inappropriate government activity, process or product
- Other
REQUIRED
Box 3 asks you to outline where change is needed as clearly and with as much relevant information as possible. Remember to focus on processes, not people. If possible, offer concrete examples of why the activity or process needs to change and who will benefit.
OPTIONAL
Box 4 asks you to provide a recommended solution. Tell us how the changes will improve government and offer any advice you might have for a solution.
REQUIRED
Box 5 invites you to include an e-mail address if you want a response to your submission. If you fill in this box your name, e-mail address and any other personal information you provide, including the name or personal information of other parties, will be forwarded to the ministry/agency responsible for responding to your submission.
OPTIONAL
Box 6 invites you to include your name if you wish. Please note that in order to receive a response, you must provide your e-mail address.
After you send the message, you will receive an automatic reply that confirms that your submission reached Waste Buster.
