Waste Buster is one of many ways British Columbians can help build an open, accountable provincial government based on sound fiscal management.

Through Waste Buster, you can identify waste and make suggestions to improve processes, such as:

  • Government money spent on activities or products that are more costly than necessary
  • Government time or money wasted because processes are inefficient or overlap
  • Government activities or processes that are unnecessary or outdated.

Government is committed to increasing its accountability to taxpayers by identifying and eliminating processes or activities that waste public funds or resources.
